…an organization primarily devoted to the welfare and empowerment of people, especially women, school dropout girls, domestic workers, SHG members and women in difficult circumstances.

The organization is registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976 in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India in December 2006 and is exempted from income tax by the Income Tax Department, Government of India under section 12AA of Income Tax Act, 1961. All donations to the organisation are exempted under Section 80G (5) (vi) of Income Tax Act, 1961.
